Perth International Jazz Festival 2013

The inaugural Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) took over the city for one weekend only from Friday 24 May to Sunday 26 May 2013, presenting 35 jazz performances across 7 stages throughout Perth and Northbridge. The three-day festival featured a feast of incredible local, national and international jazz artists including Joe Lovano, Katie Noonan, Vince Jones, Kneebody and Hank Marvin. The Festival’s outstanding jazz talent showcased across the Perth Concert Hall, The Gardens at Bishop’s See, Perth Cultural Centre, Brookfield Place, Weld Square, Barrack Square and The Ellington Jazz Club. The first ever Perth International Jazz Festival was an exhilarating experience for jazz fans in the heart of the city. Lots of FREE events were also presented at the Perth Cultural Centre, Weld Square, Barrack Square and Brookfield Place over the weekend.
